Run away or face it........

bismillahirrahmanirrahim..........
assalamualaikum w.r.t
My dad often said to me when i'm having a problem or having to make a choice or decision. "
solve the problem don't fight the problem". fighting the problem won't solve it, but you're just beating about the bushes.
"i'm not good in Geo., i don't want to learn it anymore !!!" but why not, "i'm not good in Geo., i need to find somebody that can help me."
You see, fighting vs solving.
To solve is to face the problem, not running away from it. And i always believe that the only way
to overcome your fear is by facing it. Running away, avoiding, keeping yourself at a safe distance from it, these are what mose people would do. The fear to speak in public, for an instance, cannot be solve until you take action, out of free will or even by force, to try speak in public.
In our lives, we will always come to many points where we have to make decision, and it'll always start with 2 choice.
face it or run away from it, But from the way i see it, choosing either one will still lead to one point, which is to FACE it.
Running away will only create postponement, and later on, you still have to face it. So we don't really have much of choice, do we?
These are all ALLAH's test for us, and we can't run away from the test. They are part of our lives that we cannot evade.
This what life all about, to be tested if we are doing a good job or not as His slave. Each and every one of our decision will be questioned in the Day of Judgement. We don't have to worry whether we succeed or failed. What matters is the decision we chose, and how we work for it. For His pleasure, or other than that.
Running away is not really a bad thing. Sometimes we do need to run away, just for enough to a better preparation to face those certain points, for sake of the better result,
but running away for too long, you might not make it in time. Same goes to da'wah. some people may wanted to fend off such responsibility, thinking there re not fit for such pose or to carry that burden. But let me affirm you that
Allah has promise that islam will rise again and will be victorious someday. When that time comes, where would you like to be? Among those who are fighting the victory, those who simply share the victory, or the ones who take side against islam and defeated? this i leave to ponder on.
wassalam...
